San Diego Public Transportation

San Diego Trolley (Light Rail)

This trolley-style light rail system serves the San Diego Metropolitan area. The trolley is part of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System and is often called "San Diego's Moving Landmark." It has three distinct lines: Blue Line, Orange Line and Green Line that combined serves the downtown San Diego area, East County, South Bay and San Ysidro.

San Diego Coaster Train

The COASTER runs north-south along the coast-line connecting North San Diego County with downtown San Diego and the Harbor area. The main stations are in Oceanside CA and Downtown San Diego CA.

Metropolitan Bus Transit Service

Tourists can go where the fun is. The San Diego MTS Bus Service operates many bus routes through-out the urban Greater San Diego area which includes many of its suburbs. For bus service in the northern communities of San Diego County, see the North County Transit District.
